Our Story
About Frederik Bagger
Frederik Bagger was founded in 2014 with a vision to renew and refine a tradition-heavy industry.
Rooted in Danish design heritage and with a keen eye for modern innovation, we create products that both honor the past and pave the way for new aesthetic traditions.
Today, our collection includes over 450 exclusive design products, available in more than 500 stores across the Nordics. In addition, we operate dedicated webshops.
Our Crispy crystal glassware has achieved iconic status. The glasses are primarily manufactured in the EU at some of the world’s most renowned glass factories – carefully selected for their uncompromising focus on quality and craftsmanship.
Our crystal is 100% lead-free, FDA-approved, and known for its exceptional resistance to extreme temperature fluctuations. The glasses are dishwasher safe and come with a 10-year guarantee against glass corrosion – ensuring they remain crystal-clear, wash after wash.
A Legacy of Design
Frederik Bagger grew up in a home defined by form and function. He is the son of design icon Erik Bagger, known for the Grand Cru series created in collaboration with Rosendahl, and for founding the Erik Bagger (EB) brand, which he has since sold. The family has also delivered designs to the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Copenhagen Opera House, the Royal Danish Playhouse, and Louisiana Museum of Modern Art – as well as creating the official 100th birthday gift for The Little Mermaid statue.
As a child, Frederik followed his father’s work closely and developed an early fascination with form and function. Today, he carries on the legacy with his own voice and philosophy – expressed through collections like Crispy and Adda, the latter created as a tribute to his daughter and the next generation of design enthusiasts.
At Frederik Bagger, we believe that tradition and renewal can go hand in hand. We don’t just design products – we create the traditions of tomorrow.
